Bhansali went to Ajay Devgn first for a reason when he revived this project 2-3 years back.

Yes...I think among the 40+ set Ajay would have been the best. Looked the part too. I dont think HR can pull it off. HR is better in quieter roles where his eyes do the talking.

Lookwise Hrithik would have looked more like a Chitpawan Brahmin-the light eyes(without the use of contact lenses),nose.. complexion but Ajay would have nailed Marathi accent...he has strong screen presence as well...

YESS!!! Good to know I am not the only one who has a problem with Ranveer's dialogue delivery... And its just not BM... His voice sucks in almost every other movie. In lootera I couldnt even understand what he was mumbling to himself.. I really liked him in BBB and DDD because he played guy-next-door type characters where his squeaky voice suits him... But his voice lacks that "weight" or that presence needed to play grim/dark characters...

Sid M's voice is like an instant turn on for me 😆... But sadly he is not much of an actor.😔

I would also like to talk about Ranbir's voice. I dont think anyone quite realises how much his deep voice helps him as an actor. He is so girly looking. On top of that if he had a squeaky voice like Ranveer, he would have been out of the industry in no time!

Oh yeh. Ranbir's voice does have the depth. He's a good actor and combine that with the look, I think he can pull off a King...

I don't think there is anyone that can pull off Bajirao. As much as I like Hrithik even he would have been unable to pull off Bajirao, as he has a tendency to go OTT. Bajirao was a powerful figure. He won every battle. I would imagine him to be smart, strategic and tough as nails. I haven't seen anyone in Bollywood that can play a character like that. Most of them have their weaknesses.

I think Ranbir does have a good voice, but it also depends on how he uses it. Like he was awful in besharam or whenever he tries to be funny. However, he excels in serious scenes. So, yeah... he might have pulled off the dialogue delivery part of bajirao... Although he is too pretty to play a king IMO..

Because Ranveer certainly looks the part but doesnt have the voice for it.

What a sad situation😕😆

We are talking bout MARATHI warrior/king here

HR doesn't look one! He was perfect as Akbar but not as Bajirao!
Whatever images/potraites/stuff I have read Ranveer is PERFECT!
Especially since Bajirao died young at age of 37... So that way is good choice
