Errr Gajini was a blockbuster in south industry,It was like a storm when it released in south,the very reason why its remade in Hindi.Aamir played it very safe with Gajini because it was already a tested successful movie without too much of the usual south masala crap.Aamir is very smart,he clearly knows he isn't Salman or SRK in starpower so playes his cards with best directors out there or by acting in successful franchises.We all know what was the fate of Talaash at BO.Good script or not is a different discussion for another day.

Don2 is quite compared to Talaash, it only grossed 10 crores more despite Christmas holiday, three open weeks and good will of the first part.
