We hear, Shahid's role in Udta Punjab is being cut. Not only him, Alia Bhatt too has the same problem. Apparently, Shahid and Alia's parts have been snipped and it's not according to director Abhishek Chaubey's wishes.
It seems Phantom honchos Vikramaditya Motwane and Vikas Bahl are calling the shots. If Abhishek wishes to keep a scene, the two disagree with him and if he wishes to edit out some portions, they have their own inputs.
There are such differences that Abhishek has instructed his team to stop all edit work whenever Vikramaditya and Vikas are around.
We're sure Vikramaditya and Vikas mean well, but why would you want to edit out parts of the biggest stars in your cast? Plus, the director, who is the captain of the ship, knows best, right?
