He is doing well for himself,breaking records are not everyone's purpose,making quality films delivering a powerful performance matters for some.

In the long run quality matters , a masterpiece like Haider and his portrayal will be remembered for many years you cannot tell the same for many money gobbling films of today's time.

I agree his choices in early stages were not noteworthy but his upcoming projects are promising.As a fan I'm really happy with his career graph especially his recent choices

I like his Ishq visq,JWM etc.He made some good movies.Didnt intended to watch boring Hider.

If you followed him , you'll realize, Shahid learned his mistake after Teri Meri Kahani. You could see the change in him after that.

What happened afterwards was only bad luck, not bad choices.

Shudh Desi Romance - Unfortunately, he couldn't do it. Otherwise, it would have been an other hit under his belt.

PPNH - Choosing the movie was a good idea - It could have been Rajkumar Santoshi's an other AAA - but the movie didn't work, that was clearly bad luck and definitely not on him. And Shahid was appreciated in the movie.

R. Rajkumar - It may have been bashed critically. It may have not reached 100 cr, but don't forget, the movie was a commercial success. Shahid's first commercial success.

Haider - As we know the story.

His only mistake was doing very less movies and not putting his hands in every bloody project. All I'm trying to say is ... the man's learning the tricks ... and he is still young enough to change the tables. That said, he doesn't have to beat records to prove anything.

I still remember when I was new here and PPNH'd just released and flopped. Even then everyone was confident that he was done with. Busy writing him off. Knowing him, listening to him then ... I knew he wasn't going anywhere. Did anyone thought he'll be bagging all the Awards in a year and a half?

Shahid's a late bloomer ... the more you'll push ... the more he'll hit back.

I feel like it's because of the lack of movies he has done. He hasn't shown his charm a lot in the movies he has done and if he had done more projects then I 'm sure he'd be at the top right now. But I loved Rajkumar and thought it really worked for out for him. Don't know why it didn't do as well at the BO😳

I think he has already made it by Haider everyone praised him for his acting, he even won Award for it 😎 though the problems which came was he never got gud movies n to earn his bread n butter he did some wrong movies but its fine as he bounced back 😊
