Salman's film will not release in Pakistan next week!
Salman Khan - Kareena Kapoor's Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to release on Eid next week but not in Pakistan. As per the latest updates, the Pakistani government is planning to postpone the release of Salman's film in the country to avoid clash with two of their biggest films. Mahira Khans Bin Roye and Javed Sheikh's romcom Wrong No is all set to release on Eid in Pakistan.
There is a possibility that Kabir Khan's film might eat into the business of Bin Roye and Wrong No which is why Bajrangi Bhaijaan might get postponed and will in Pakistan a week after the film's actual release. But as per industry insiders, there is no clarity on the release of BB in Pakistan yet as the makers still have to receive a certificate from the Pakistani Censor Board. A source was quoted saying, "Certification is a cumbersome process and so, films are generally shown to a foreign censor board about two weeks prior to release. However, in Bajrangi Bhaijaan's case, it has not been screened yet."
As of now BB hasn't been screened anywhere to avoid piracy but having said that, censor screenings that take place outside India happen only three to four days before a film's release and the same is the case for the Pakistani screening so nothing can be said as of now. A spokesperson of White Hill Production and Distribution said, "A special request can be made to the board and one can get a go-ahead in just three or four days."
