Salman is one person who has given opportunities to many new comers (be it new to the industry or son/daughter of someone from the industry). If he is a jealous person, he would never do that.

Salman always talks about timing and innocence. He compares his current self to the prem in "maine pyaar kiya" movie. He always says that he will never have that kind of innocence.
I think he is just nostalgic.
He likes kids too much to have any jealous or bitter feelings. Even kids find him lovable.

It is the usual Salman surprising people with his choice of words.
