That was a while back I suppose before Shuddhi? VD is busy with lots of films. Shuddhi will take 6 months atleast to film. MS doesnt like to wait for long and shoots his films quickly. If he starts HG first VD wont be in it.

If Varun cant accommodate this,why cant Sid land this one instead of Intouchables.Why is his PR writing stories abt some Vipul Shah collaboration instead of lobbying for this one?Going by the description of the male lead's physical traits in the novel,Sid suits the part..And its really time for him to get a makeover and attempt a tapori role.Enough of roles targeting multiplex audience alone.100 Cr hit ka kuch toh fayda chahiye..why cant he talk to Mohit uff!

This one has a commercial script,devoid of complexities,that can connect to layman..right up Mohit's alley...Intouchables remake goes above his caliber & 90% chance he might ruin it.
