I doubt its the intouchables. The girl wont have much of a role otherwise whats the need of calling it a remake. Its not like people will rush to the theaters hearing that name.

Intouchables will go on the floors before The Excel movie though. Last I read they were supposed to start shooting in August.

Pari/Adi doesn't click for me. They seem like really good friends but zero chemistry. Sid and Pari should be paired together again though 😊

I dont think shoot of Intouchables starting from August is confirmed..Neither Mohit nor Kjo has given a statement abt cast,schedule etc as of yet..Sid said his next is with Excel production costarring Katrina in recent twitter chat..Mohit should focus on the bond b/w 2 boys and not bring in unnecessary romance...romcom angle wont work well for a concept like this..Anyway I dont want Parineeti in this movie...I didnt like her chemistry with Aditya or Sid..Dont care abt online hype,in real life none of these pairing were talked abt..B.O success was also limited..Parineeti should make her come back in a flick which has her playing central character... Shradha might be a better choice for this one(only if Kjo/MS insists on having lead heroine)

Agree about the romance bit. It should focus on the dynamic b/w the two friends; that is what made the original so special. Otherwise; there is no need call it a remake. It will be the typical rom-com movie. I hope Adi doesn't do it in that case. Even Sid should walk out as he gains nothing from it.

Another thing, could they have gotten a better director. If there is one guy who can run this; its Mohit. Add Karan and you have got an impending disaster. They better not mess this up.

Someone like Abisheikh Kapoor would have been perfect. And he has made these types of movies before with great success(Rock on; KPC).

@Piya:I think everything depends on Brothers fate...not the movie performance overall..how much Sid get appreciated by audience and critics etc..He has to win Kjo's faith again if he wanna get signed for ambitious project like Kalank😆

@Arsal:Totally agree..Saying this from beginning...Mohit Suri isnt the right choice for remaking such a brilliant script..Abhishek Kapur could've been good..UTV should brought the remake rights :)
