Bollywood hunk Salman Khan reinforced his image as enfant terrible when he surprised Jaaneman co-star Preity Zinta with a public display of affection that transgressed social behavior amongst colleagues. Bombay 19 Oct 2006 - Bollywood hunk Salman Khan reinforced his image as enfant terrible when he surprised Jaaneman co-star Preity Zinta with a public display of affection that transgressed social behavior amongst colleagues. The incident occurred in Bombay where Preity Zinta, 32, organized a special screening of Jaaneman for over 1000 children from different institutions and school. Zinta, dressed in the same clothes as in the film Jaaneman, chaperoned, played and had herself photographed with the children. Later Salman Khan made a surprise appearance from behind a large cutout of himself. He too mingled and played with the children and had himself photographed with them. As part of the mock festivities Preity placed a golden crown on Salman's head with the word Superstar embossed on it. Salman's display of affection for Preity came in the form of a hug that lasted far too long to be just social. In fact, it was long enough for you to wonder if it was a public display of affection or love? Talking to the press Preity downplayed the significance of all that happened saying," This was just an event. Not even an event but a celebration. We just wanted to have fun with the children." Zinta has been romantically linked with Bombay Dyeing heir Ness Wadia for quite some time. She has also been linked with some of her co-stars such as Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aamir Khan but has always dismissed them as rumors.

Talking with Star News recently she confided that there was indeed a man in her life. However, she refrained from revealing his identity.
