Love Anushka but ..

I have immense faith in d talent of Anushka Sharma and was literally rooting for her in Dil Dhadakne Do ,I saw NH10 and was completely bold over by her immaculate and flawless portrayal of the vulnerable yet fiesty Meera. So,when the reviews started to pour in ,I was waiting to see comments like Anushka stole d show etc ( like she did in jthj) but was aghast to see her in d film..leave aside the patchily written character which had no scope ,there was not a single scene where she was without ranveer.But even if I accept the fact that actors need not play overpowering roles all the time and maybe she was just playing a character here which is that of the main lead's gf,I was completely distracted by her bee stung lips the most in this movie.I saw PK and NH10 ,and the lips were not an issue but I think in this movie she looked pathetic and sad.I felt very bad for her.The enhancement which she used in BV was not prominent in that movie itself( happened to see that film sadly)but here it was so rankling that it affected her dialogue delivery which was once her forte .If you see her closely you would feel she herself was aware .Every dialog was coming out as if she was murmuring something with her lips getting curled .Her confidence was nowhere to be spotted in d film.

I Sincerely hope that she does something to undo the damage .This post is just an expression of sheer disgust and disappointment of seeing an actress having such great potential going astray because of a silly mistake.More power to her talent.Loved her in d song peheli bar and in d scenes in turkey .

Exactly..I think she herself is very conscious of the debacle ..and it showed especially in the scene with Priyanka (when she comes to know abt kabir's fake marriage)..as if she can't speak..she has an allergy on her tongue or something 🤢
