Deliberately repeating people take matters in own hands but ignoring Government stooges like Sajjan Kumar, Kamal Nath, Tytler etc enlisting goons and supplying them with weapons and list of Sikh addresses. Ignoring how Rajiv Gandhi holed up President Zail Singh in Rashtrapati Bhawan, cut all communication lines, paid no heed to him nor started army intervention in the affected area till 3 days. They let bloodbath happen!

They facilitated it.

And not just me but many other members have described it here.

Still it is being called just natural reaction!

Mam, u had so much time to transform from BigB bhakt to Amitabh hater after all these years.. with the IT as advanced it is now..

Those ppl didnt have as much IT info as we do now.. As My Dr uncle said, the wedding was on one side and this news took the centre.. but it was Gujarat. If the mobs r coming to ur village or town, all these arguments from the comfort of our goes for a toss. Its time to act and react..

Thats how riots happen, b4 u know it.. its knocking ur door. The ppl outside may be goons but more likely.. just civilians.

This argument is as fensy as USA created Osama.. so 9-11 and how many countries ruined after that... its true on face value. But which side u r on is the question. My view is "US created taliban to defeat the Russians... they got it and they went away>... Osama realized they been used.. and they braught the twin towers down". Tragedy all around.. so many innocent ppl died. BUT

Wud i be happy if USA and Terrorist groups join hands and destroy other countries? Nope. When u look at larger picture, its a poetic justice.

I know we r on diff, page altogether.. I m looking at much bigger picture and u r at core of it.

But what if i post some pics of Godhra train burning.. a mother n child bodies charred together in fire. I cried, my hands were shaking on that India FM forum.. as many members we have here.. i just checked teletext on tv and read this horrible news.. went str8 to my desktop and checked out some sites, yes.. it indeed happened, i went that forum, it was business as usual, and i threw a bomb. "58 Hindus burnt alive in a train"... silence... all activities stopped... every1 wanted to know what the hell this is...

and then... the forum was never the same... there were so many fights and words... gosh..

I called up my muslim frnd whoz always our designated driver coz he didnt drink.. abt this news and he was like "f**k fuk ful fuk" and i was like why? He said there will so many muslims will be killed. I just consoled him and asked to call India and ask the family to keep low profile.

On that forum, I made a statement, Gujarat will never be the same again(Fearing the worst).

But Namo made it better Gujarat that I ever thought of.. wow.

Credits where its due.

Yes, politicians do play their parts.. but riots dont happen if we the civilians dont take part in it.

Hey, as much i like to see GW Bush and Tony Blair in international courts for crime against humanity, I never wish their bodygurds to kill them with a communal angle.

The communal angle so LOUD and pronounced ... backlash were inevitable.

I feel sorry for sikhs in NZ who r called talibans by some kiwi idiots.

It is a natural reaction. They r ignorant but its their nature.

Not just now.

It is AB issue which I learnt about recently. And not just online but talking to more people than I usually did.

Also, many other members here, many books, media reports, human rights groups reports have described how it was a genocide, highlighted role of state and government stooges.

Still if you want to say it's just a result of anger or deny or downplay the entire thing ignoring all proof on it. Then carry on.
