Yes the government use to pretty much go down hunting young men formally baptized into the faith of Sikhism and torture them. Many of them disappeared never to be found again!

no, my dearest ppl, I dont think of Gandhi when I bash him, or Sardar patel when I praise him, or Morarji desai who banned liquor in Gujarat as Gujjus... they r national icons. Nor I think of Bhagat singh as punjabi, Subhash Bose as Bengali, Maulana aazad as muslim or Dr Kalam as muslim.. they r national icons.

Noe I think of Sachin as a marathi, Amitabh as UP ka bhiya, Madhuri as Marathi, Sri as south Indian, Hrithik as punjabi, or anyone else for that matter.

Ur brains may work that way.. mine doesnt. I dont even know where Atal Vajpayi hails from.. but i liked him as a PM, just that he was too old.

Soniya mam is from Italy I know, she beat the shit out of AVB and then elected puppet PM called Manmohan singh.. where were u all ppl then? Gujjus r not many in armed forces.. but hey, thats not the only criteria for being patriots. We contribute our economic powers.. how can Indian GOV can spend so much on defence if there was no money in coffer. And no, Gujjus will never ask for separate Gujarat... just coz we r always been looked at as rich and no benefits given to us in General budget. We r still helding huge burdon of Narmada Dam. We can bare it. 😉 No whiny whiny shit.

Gujarat earthquake... $ 128 millions were donated in 24 hours after it happened.. from NRGs. Beat that.

My dad's punjabi frnd went to Gujarat for first time last year, and he was 😲 he said to my dad, all these congees and AAP kejariwals idiots ever visted Gujarat? This is amazing state. And then my dad were to go to Punjab with him to hishouse in Ludhiana.. he was in inferior complex.. he started warning my dad, that Ludhiyana is the worst city in India.. dont expect anything and all that.. My dad said.. thats ok. Surat was like that too.. he said "Surat"? U have eiffel towers and leaning tower and twin towers and opera house on every round about? 😆

Lets be proud of the good things, and lets admit we have long way to overcome bad things. Keeping a closed eye n ear wont make the problems go away.

Why are only 1984 riots being discussed in detail and even communities. It is so not required except for the part where AB was responsible for instigating the crowd. I'm will ask my father in a couple of hours and get back to you. Last I knew that this thread was about AB the great and is definitely not to discuss which community is better for gods sake.

My dad, a congress hater..didnt even had an idea if AB actually said that.

I mean Amitabh was like a huge star and if he said something like that, it wud have been discussed on the forum like this long ago.
