I don't know why people don't like SRK's performance in the DON series...I think he was so so perfect in portraying the different shades of DON...he was ruthless, witty, romantic, CREEPY(especially when he is watching the disney cartoons with a gun on his side and drinking), quirky...I just love the movies...I understand that some may not like the movie but what about his performance as DON?/

I know right 😆 And btw I loved him in Don series. Contrary to popular belief, I find his badass avatar in Don really amazing. I've a thing for grey characters and I find him more appealing when he plays a bad guy than romantic roles

Yes even I like his performance in Don but I have less hope for Don 3 because of Srk-Peecee problem 😭😭😭

With due respect, SRK cannot judge merit of films. He is a good judge of names. Not films.

He has no cinematic sense. It takes certain sense to visualise how a script would translate onscreen. Aamir has it in plenty. SRK doesn't.

SRK can embellish his films in most lavish ways. But he doesn't have the sense of putting himself in audience place, coming down to their level and understanding what kind of content will strike a chord with them.

Whereas Aamir gets into minds of audience. He makes great effort to observe them, get into their minds, observe exact reactions in theatres (during his secret visits and also test screenings). He listens to scripts like a member of audience. Never like a star. He has learnt from every failure and success which is why he climbed the ranks the way he did now.

SRK's lack of cinematic sense is the reason why he left Robot and did Ra One instead with his friends. Result is there to see.
He rejected Munnabhai MBBS and 3I, just due to issues with VVC though he claims it was dates problem.

Aamir even leaves own ego aside if he likes the script but not the man. 😆 Unlike SRK.

I admired him for choices like Swades and CDI, but I bet he would not have taken this films if Ashu didn't have Lagaan behind him and CDI wasn't YRF product. Choices like Darr, Anjaam, KHKN were made earlier in career. And that time he picked up anything he got, being a newbie. KKHH and MHN are for friends.

SRK mainly works with either friends or previously successful names. He's names person, not a good films person.
