I agree. Shahid seemed way more affected than Kareena post their breakup. He literally seemed depressed and out of it for a while. PC came in much later as you mentioned. I don't know what his relationship with PC was, but from what I remember..Shahid started opening up again when PC used to be around him..as in he may have started moving on around that time? I don't know.

Whatever the reason was..I don't think any of us know..but with whatever happened post their breakup...Shahid seemed deeply affected, while Kareena did not. She seemed happy in her bubble with Saif..so, not too sure how anyone can blatantly blame Shahid here.

My god this forum is so biased with Kareena! There was news all over the place that she cheated on him with saif! Also Kismat connection shooting frikin started after the break up

^^ Yeah Kareena was with Saif before she broke up with Shahid. Infact according to media reports that time( and as far as I remember) it was when the news circulated that Saifeena were together during Tashan that Shahid realized Kareena has broken up with him.

Actually LONG before media reports of Saif-Kareena surfaced, Anil Kapoor indirectly reveals on his KWK that there was trouble in Shahid-Kareena paradise.

I remember Kareena fans were furious.

Anil Kapoor was given a few off screen couples names and asked which one won't make the alter. Without battle an eyelid, he responded Shahid & Kareena. Back then, Bebo fans were so surprised by his response because to the public, Shahid and Kareena seemed so in love.

Even the media hadn't caught on. But I guess only the people around her knew that Bebo-Shahid were going through a rough patch.

The FIRST reports of Kareena and Saif surfaced months after that interview.

I still remember the title of that first article. Shahid-Kareena kaput.

It happens. Couples madly in love grow apart, or realize that they weren't right for each other. I do think Kareena took the decision to break up with him. And yes I do think Saif became a catalyst, in her decision. But I think the break up was long coming, with or without Saif. Keep in mind, Kareena HAD worked with Saif before. She was dating Shahid when she did Omkara and Saif was on the sets then too. But they both kept their distance.

She was meant to be with him

From what I know they both cheated on each other - Kareena cheated on Shahid with Saif, and Shahid cheated on Kareena with Vidya...or maybe Shahid cheated on Kareena with Vidya BECAUSE Kareena cheated lol

But this did happen because Vidya did indirectly confirm that she was head over heels with an actor and it took forever for her to get over him. You could still sense the weirdness between them

They had begun having major problems & then she went to shoot for Tashan & love blossomed & breakup had happened/ on the verge but she didn't cheat. It was pretty much a done deal by then. Saif stepped in as her shining knight & she fell hook-line-sinker. Bebo doesn't have it in her to cheat b/c she's many things, but unfaithful is not one of them. True rarity for BW.

This. I know you can't really predict human beings but generally speaking, she comes across as someone who prides her loyalty above all.

Don't think Shahid cheated either.

I think like I said earlier, the problem was the media never got a whiff of the trouble in Shahid and Kareena's relationship UNTIL she started being seen with Saif. Sources I've read said that when Shahid headed to Toronto for Kismat Konnection and Kareena onto her sets of Tashan, they officially called it off.

But I guess it still hurts when your ex gf moves on so quickly with someone else, which explains why Shahid was so jilted for so long.

People are complex that way. They fight, they argue, they may still have residual feelings, and hopes that things will work out.
