Those who walked away may live to regret once the film scores at the BO .

It is an excellent ensemble cast 👍🏼

PS:If I recollect correctly it was Farhan who stole the show in ZNMD ...from HR !!!

You have a point..but, I can't really see Hrithik playing a supporting role to Ranbir.

I am not telling about HR in particular...but it was a generic comment. Btw hasnt HR played a supporting role in Zoya's firsl film which had Farhan as the lead?

Hritik unintentionally ended up playing a supporting role to Farhan in ZNMD. Don't think it was intended though. Its just that Zoya gave the best lines and scenes to the film's best character and Hrithik almost became a supporting character like Abhay, while Farhan took over the entire film. I fear something similar is going to happen with Ranveer in DDD. Farhan already looks more impressive than Ranveer in the promo's plus Anil Kapoor seems to have a solid role as well. Don't think Ranveer will benefit too much from the film even if its a huge hit.

Ranbir might have realized this possibility of being relegated to the background and wisely opted out of the film.

I agree on Ranveer...he seems subdued in the promos. Farhan looks best while PC, Shefali and Anil are great in the trailer. This might be one of the reasons why Ranbir rejected this movie.

No clue, I thought it was just a guest appearance for that song he did? never saw the movie.

HR only had a guest appearance in LBC, not a supporting role. Though he was so funny as the cocky superstar, almost a spoof on himself. Loved him in that film.

He refused ZNMD too because he didn't want to work with Farhan.. Dunno, if it was Farhan the reason or the role Farhan played.

I will admit, I loved Katrina and Hrithik (now) in ZNMD.

But I like the idea of a brand new cast to see how Zoya works with other actors!

Plus, based on past interviews, it sounds like Kareena is waaayy too mainstream for Zoya's vision. They would so not see eye to eye, because Zoya doesn't really direct her actors in a typical Bwood fashion, which Kareena is better off in.

So, nope. Current cast.

Oh, but I would've liked Katrina in place of Anushka somehow. Anushka to me seems like Shruti in different movies

Ranbir might be going through a bad phase now but his strategy of doing single hero films where he has an author backed role has played out very well for him in the past. I think he would prefer to keep doing such roles with risky films where he can shine than do safe films where he is just one of many.
