It seems Salman Khan is on a rethink mode for his forthcoming films after he opted out of Karan Johar's most awaited film Shuddhi. It is also believed that his forthcoming film No Entry Main Entry has been delayed further. The film was to hit the screens post Anees Bazmee's Welcome Back, but the filmmaker is keen on starting his other film Aankhen 2.
The delay in casting and unavailability in Salman's date might have caused the delay, informs a source. "Salman has been busy in completing his ongoing projects like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan which have been completed recently. The actor-turned-producer is also focusing on his home production Hero Remake. However he is yet to decide on other films in which he has already left Karan Johar's Shuddhi. He is yet to give his dates for No Entry," the source said.
Busy with post production of Welcome Back, Anees Bazmee confirms that he is still working on the script of Aankhen 2 which will go on floor after Welcome back. "NEME was to go on floor last year in June after Anees Bazmi's Welcome Back. Delay in his Welcome Back has also pushed back No Entry Main Entry," the source added.Producer Boney Kapoor denied there was any delay. "There's no delay. We will definitely do this film, but it all depends on Salman. It is best to be left to him to decide that when he wants to start. I have not met him; perhaps I will have a chat with him and most probably will know the status then. No Entry Main Entry cannot be done without Salman Khan," Boney said.
Aankhen 2 has been announced this year with John Abraham in the lead. The latest to join the team is Anil Kapoor. Director Anees Bazmi who has worked with producer Vipul shah For Singh Is King, is yet to finalise the other star casts.
