Has this ever happened before? A film makes more money on Day 5 than Day 1? LOL WOW! I dont think I've seen that before.

ANyway, I have seen this movie in the theater TWICE and I am speechless.

I have so many favourites scenes:

- The opening scene, mental hospital scene

- Pappi's speech

- Evertyime Dattoo Talks

- The scene where Tanu dances at a baarat and then in a split second she gets up and her expression goes from happy to angry/sad - that was cinematic brilliance

- The scene where Tanu gets up and tells the girl in the restaurant to shut up 😆 LMFAO i died

- Tanu VS Datto Scene

- Kangana's Expressions in Bawri Ho Gayi Song 😊

I haven't enjoyed a movie this much in a LONG LONG time. I give it 10/10.

Kangana is fricking AWESOME! I have always loved her since Gangster, honestly - I dont know what one can do or say to do justice to Kangana's talent. I dont even think award deserve Kangana 😆 This performance was LEGENDARY...and Madhavan also did a really good job and held his own and the guy who did Pappi was also brilliant.

Caught the movie yesterday. The movie had a thin plot but the dialogues were a laugh riot and Kangana was brilliant esp as Datto.!As Tanu also she rocked.What a double role... so different and brilliantly played!!!Pappiji was hilarious and rest of the cast was good too. Madhavan,Jimmy Shergill,Swara and the ensemble cast 👏

Himanshu has done a splendid job... he understands north indian culture,language very well. I have lived in north india as well... god what authenticity he has brought!I can totally imagine the scenes and small small details(director deserves the credit too)😆

Well I know people keep saying that Tanu and Datto are SO opposite and hats off to Kangana for portraying the two characters flawlessly.. But I think this might be the first attempt in BW where the twins are not SO different characterization wise..

Yes, Tanu is spoilt, destructive and impulsive.. But Datto is not pole-apart from her.. They both are lively, fiercy, fighter, 'eent-ka-jawaab-patthar-se' types.. I felt for the first time I am watching a movie of identical twins where the director didn't try to show them SO different from each other.. Rather it was just one layer extra on Tanu than Datto.. And I loved this..

I know Datto has been the flavor of the season but I would always always pine for Tanu.. The Bewafa song, where she goes to the Saloon to wear that wig.. Then comes to Madhavan.. When Madhavan asks her why she is doing all these, her brutal honesty that she wants to get him back.. Awww.. It was SO refreshing change to see a woman opening up to a man like this whereas BW always shows the heroes doing all these..

I do believe Madhavan's character seemed to be total spineless to me, but on a second thought, if he had not been shown such submissive and reserved/confused person, Tanu's wildness and longing for him won't have come out as this great !

Absolutely loving movie .. Cant wait to head to the theatre for second time !!

Gurgaon PK did 70 lakhs on Sunday..Hny did 58 lakhs on Friday and Kick made 53 lakhs on saturday

TMWR 's 53 lakhs is nothing short of a miracle..like HOWWW😲

Tanu Weds Manu Returns held up very strong on Tuesday with a small drop from Monday. The film only dropped a little in the metros while other cities were same as Monday and some even better. The first five day business of Tanu Weds Manu Returns is as follows.

Friday - 8,50,00,000

Saturday - 13,00,00,000

Sunday 16,00,00,000

Monday - 8,50,00,000

Tuesday - 8,00,00,000

TOTAL - 54,00,00,000

Tanu Weds Manu Returns is heading for a 65 crore nett plus week and could even go close to 70 crore nett. The film will cross 100 crore nett before the end if it's second week and the third week will determine it's lifetime business but a 125 crore nett plus total is looking a realistic possibility.

Over 50 crores in 5 days!!! This is brilliant.This coming weekend is going to be a blessing for the film.No major release till 5 June.

Btw will this be Rai's biggest hit ? How much did Raanjhnaa earn?
