Why are Saif and Kareena so pretentious?

Comes to work, no one seems to have a problem with him, does his job.

Saif is acting typical member of a royal family. They always feel that everyone is beneath their feet due to their blue blood. Have you ever met some ex royals in India and look how rude they behave with common people. And Kareena being his begum supporting her Saifu in everything. Saif and Bebo term themselves as modern couple. And anyways its there life and no one cares for their attitude as we have too many actors now in Bollywood.

I think they liked to play dress-up...they liked it that people say they dress so well..especially Saif...he wasn't like this when he was with Amrita...he wasn't so aware that he was a Pataudi...

Not saying this about Saif...but just in general...why are people so obsessed with royalties...I mean what have they done so special for people to ship them other than being born in a royal family...it irritates me so much when people fawn over royal families...i mean if I have to fawn I will do it over a self made common man...rather than some shitbag whose only claim to fame is being born in a royalty...again this is not about Saif...just in general...I know Saif's fans are mostly because of his acting/movies and not because he is an ex-royalty.

Well .. confidence is a good thing, too much of it looks like arrogance. That is what the issue is with both of these people. They both love love love attention (especially Bebo). So when they were getting all the attention and love from people, I think it just went to their head somewhere and they both started behaving like they look down upon others (Saif was still being a little deeper and articulate, Bebo is just brash at times). But now that their films are flopping and others have taken the center stage, these two are slowly coming down from the pedestal ... its not going to happen totally but a little bit of arrogance has reduced off late.

You know Saif also said he doesn't watch American rom coms, coz they aren't his thing. He prefers action.

why don't people freak out that he's a rom com hero therefore he's being ungrateful?

I'll tell you why.
It's not that it's their rosy roti bit, it's that people wanna believe said thinks Indians of anything Indian is below him.
So what if he made the exact same statement about American rom coms, doesn't go with what we wanna believe about the man.

He's so wanmabe and pretentious, most of his offscreen pictures are in Kurtas.

It's not pre and post Amrita.
Times have changes. The media has grown. These days these stars are constantly being captured, PR is involved in everything, if they dress badly, there's blogs and articles about it.

In today's times, being a star isn't just an onscreen job. It's a 24/7 thing and saif has become more in time with how he wants to dress.
He says so himself, he's more comfortable in his skin.
