Is Amit Trivedi miffed with Anurag Kashyap?

It seems director Anurag Kashyap's woes are far from over. After a not-sooverwhelming response to the trailer of his next, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, now, the music director of the film, Amit Trivedi, is apparently upset with him. The source says, "Both Anurag and Amit have known each other for years, and have also worked together in films such as Dev.D (2009) and Udaan (2010). But they are facing issues in their latest outing."

According to the source, Amit had worked really hard on the music of Anurag's period film. Apparently, he did a lot of research on the sound of the '60s and the jazz culture of that era. "Amit was very proud of the songs that he has come up with. But when the time came to promote the tracks, instead of using the original songs, the remixes done by music composer Mikey Mcleary are being used. Both the songs that have been released by the makers are done by Mikey, which has apparently miffed Amit," says the source.

Remixed or not BV doesnt make an impression. All songs sound the same. You dont know when one ends and the other begins. Only Behroopiya is good. Apart from that Mohabbat Buri Beemari now sound 1000 times better than rest of the tracks. I am so disappointed! Which is the other album Amit said is his best apart from BV?

Extremely hard to believe at this point that the 'disastrous' press on this movie isn't intentional. Things can be bad, but they can't be so horrific that every tom, dick and harry associated with the movie has to have multiple articles and issues about their grievances of some form or the other publicized. Calling BS on this.
