If rumors are to be paid heed to, then we hear that Ranbir Kapoor will not be making it to Cannes this year. Reason being, that the producers do not wish to have a festival tag on this commercial film- Bombay Velvet.
Plus, when an International magazine wrote that BV is indeed in the list of films to be screened this year, Anurag Kashyap instantly denied the news report and said he doesn't know anything about the screening at Cannes. He also added that the film will have a release on May 15th, like planned. So if Bombay Velvet isn't making it to Cannes this year, RK has been asked not to be at the French Rivera.
It was, off late, confirmed that Katrina Kaif is indeed walking the red-carpet as the L'Oreal brand ambassador. But we aren't so certain that her beau would be in tow with her at Cannes 2015!
So this might mean that Kat will have to walk the red-carpet sans Ranbir. Unless, she backs out last minute!
