Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! quick movie review: This Sushant Singh Rajput starrer is as good as a murder mystery can get!

Here's the first hand experience of watching Dibakar Banerjee's latest detective flick...

People had been wondering for months together about Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! The film has created enough buzz among the audiences and everyone is psyched to watch the film. The film releases tomorrow at theatres across the globe. Our reviewer Rukmini Chopra is presently at the YRF studio watching the press show and she says, "Forget keeping me on the edge of my seat, this Dibaker Bannerjee film has knocked me right off!"

She goes on to add, "Nothing fascinates me more like murder mysteries do and I'm truly pleased that a remarkable filmmaker like Dibaker Bannerjee has chosen to make a project as such. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is every bit as intriguing, thrilling and dark as it can get.

(spoilers start)

(Meet Byomkesh( Sushant Singh Rajput) a detective who has been approached to solve a mystery surrounding the murder of Bhuvan Babu. The plot involves Gajanan Sikdar, Bhuvan's co worker who is being threatened by a certain someone, a film actress Anguri who has secrets if her own to hide and uses seduction as a tool to seal them and last but not the least, Bhuvan's niece who comes across as too innocent to be true. Bhuvan is dead and no one knows who killed him. Blood, gore, sex and suspense, this venture can be compared to the likes of Sherlock Holmes! To throw me off guard, genius Dibaker brings in Byomkesh's friend and companion in the limelight who is now the possible suspect! Who the f**ck killed Bhuvan? (Spoilers end)

I'm as confused as detective Byomkesh and simply cannot wait for this mystery to get resolved!" Now isn't that something intriguing? We bet it is.

She moves on to add, "The film has been shot spectacularly where Dibaker has used panning shots to bring in the dark, thrilling effect. The background score is simply brilliant and keeps the mysterious mood of the venture right on track!"

Reading all of this we are even more excited to see the film. Is Sushant Singh Rajput going to turn out the villain himself? If not, will he be able to catch the real culprit? Keep reading this space for the full movie review in some time.Subscribe to me on YouTube

Screw it all, man! Watching it tomorrow. Hope it's dark and thrilling. Will come to conclusions only after I watch it. High expectations this side...when are you watching this one? 😆

People, its a request.

Please Don't post spoilers. And if you must, do post a little warning message beforehand.

It spoils the whole experience for the rest of us who plan on catching it later.
