Shot in the dark: Director refuses to incorporate suggestions by popular actor

This filmmaker recently met a noted actor to seek support for an upcoming film, but the latter began interfering in every aspect of the project.
A source says, "When the director initially went to meet the actor a few months ago, he did not show any interest in meeting or even discussing the project. However, eventually when the film got rave reviews on international platforms, he changed his stand and called her for a meeting." Unfortunately for the filmmaker, the meeting did not go as expected. Adds the source, "His first advise was to change the name of the film as he felt the Indian audience wouldn't connect to it. Next he suggested that a promotional song be included. But the director was far from convinced and refused to incorporate any such changes." The actor was clearly miffed over not being heeded. It was only later that he thought it over and decided to lend all support to the filmmaker.
