My Choice is a collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Homi Adajania for Vogue's initiative on women's empowerment, #VogueEmpower. Written by Kersi Khambatta (co-writer Being Cyrus, Finding Fanny), the film brings together 99 women in the city (Mumbai) from most walks of life voicing their choice for equality, be it social, political, economic, sexual.

Deepika Padukone with director Homi Adajania launched their short film for Vogue India's Empower campaign at an event earlier today.

Deepika wore a Fresh Off The Runway striped suit by Huemn which had little embellishments on the shoulder.

She paired her suit with patterned corset and finished her look out with white sneakers.

blah blah blah, that's how it is for deepika 😆 women empowerment today and tomorrow 100 steps back, where she will accept being just a sex object, totally objectified.

Only because Anaita is her stylist has she become the face of this video. Because on a serious note someone like her does not represent women empowerment at all.

She is fine with being called breastful, bazari aurat and is proud of jokes about her holes.

Anaita should have not been biased, she should have chosen someone who actually genuinely fight for women empowerment!

Not like DP who is just using it like a Publicity gimmick.

I love the writing...the monologue. The background music is awesome!! 👍🏼The B&W video makes it powerful glad they didn't go for a colored video.

Personally I don't think these things matter. What's important is the message all the people involved in the film are trying to convey. Let's not lose sight of that please.
