Dedicating the movie to the Kashmiri Pandits seemed like a dig from VB. He should have avoided that.

Anupam kher has a right to say that he being a kashmiri pandit. The film was mediocre to say the least. Apart from being anti army. He dint even focus on kashmiri genocide. Why is he dedicating the award to it.

Just like Anupam Kher has a right, VB also has a right to dedicate this award to anyone he wants. As far as the film being mediocre or not, the audiences and the critics decided that by showering their love. If he was making a film on Kashmiri genocide, he would have focused on it but he wasn't. Its about the story of a family and how they get affected by terrorism.
Anti-army? LOL. Army does torture terrorists and POWs and we support it. Nothing anti about it.

Both are wrong. VB did an opportunistic dedication. He hasn't really done anything for Kashmiri pandits. Also knowing that so many within the community were offended by his film, it was insensitive.

Anupam Kher's rant is also unbecoming. It sounds overtly angry and vindictive. Would have been better if he explained his stance more politely and calmly.
