New Delhi, March 14 -- A recent report suggested that there was a spat between actors Katrina Kaif and Kangana Ranaut, when the latter had allegedly sent some pictures of herself to Katrina's boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor. But Kat says there's no truth to that.
"I have not seen this report and have no idea from where it came from. I met her (Kangana) once at a party. She is a sweetheart," says Katrina, rubbishing rumours of any unpleasantness between the two.
The 31-year-old, however, does not blame anyone and sees such speculation as an inevitable part of stardom. "Sometimes, you don't know where these reports are coming from. But I am not blaming people or saying that they are maliciously concocting lies. I feel that there is a lot of misinformation doing the rounds," she says.
The actor, who is said to steer clear of giving statements or clarifying such buzz, says she speaks out when she has to. "There are times when you don't want to disclose things ... that's when I don't reply and people understand that if they don't get a reply from me, it means I don't want to comment on that particular issue. But when there is something that is blatantly untrue, I make it a point to speak out," she says.
She adds that such gossip is a small price to pay for the beautiful life she leads. "I'll not sit on a throne and complain that people write things about me which aren't true ... these are such small things. Look at the larger picture. I stay in such a beautiful place and have such wonderful discussions with my directors. Then, I go to the gym and spend time with my friends. It is such a beautiful life!"
