Because for the most part actresses and their roles are considered readily replaceable by producers so if one of them makes a stink they will easily be replaced, and then blackballed. Even A listers like Deepika or Priyanka won't take a stand because they've established a rapport with the producers and production houses so they don't want to ruffle feathers.

A united front is easy to talk about in print and in discussions. But the reality of achieving it is highly improbably if not impossible.

Erm maybe coz including PK she has 4 releases in span of 6months(dec to June) which she needs to promote esp NH10 as there's no big hero...varun can go all out for badlapur but if anushka tries to do the same for nh10 then it means she doesn't stop talking..lol

Deepika had said the same thing in an interview(I think Masand's) but the thing is as someone has said that heroines are easily replaceable if they take a stand... unfair but that's the reality esp when established actresses like DP,Katrina,PC are paid less than the newcomer males and the likes of RS,IK etc...

2.) how actresses should be paid more as alot of their salary goes into styling.
3.) the ranbir-katrina point applies to anushka-virat aswell. Virat is never asked about anushka during his cricket tours while anushka gets asked about it in every interview. Even heard one interview where the interview said to her 'kohli Saab kaise hai?' As if it's a convo between friends

IMO this is not whining...it's a strong independant woman speaking her mind

This lady is gifted with smart mind and she talks very practical like any other normal girl .I agree with her every point which she had denoted here . She just speaks the truth in an honest way .

She brings up some valid points. More than anything a new male actor should seriously not be getting paid more than a top A list actress.

Madam has already put NH10 in the league of Queen and Mardaani 😆
