While Freida Pinto has been tweeting her support to the Nirbhaya documentary called 'India's daughter', which is based on the horrific 2012 Delhi gang rape, many back home are cross and miffed with it.
What makes matters worse is the interview of the rapist Mukesh Singh, making terrible and stupendous statements on this rape incident. Jaya Bachchan is seen here discussing the topic in the parliament. Mrs Bachchan asked the government to take strict actions and come to a decision about the rapist, at the earliest. In a moment of fury, Jaya also asked the government to hand over the rapist to them (women's Rajya Sabha MPs led by Jaya), and they could 'take care' of him.
