After Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt all set to be seen as a Hockey Player in her next with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor titled Udta Punjab directed by Abhishek Chaubey.
After playing a bubbly lovable lover girl in all her films, Alia Bhatt is now all set to be seen in a altogether new avatar in Udta Punjab which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. The movie which deals with Drug Abuse will be set in rural area of Punjab and true to her character; Alia will be seen as a hockey player in the film.
To look authentic, the actress has already started training intense training in hockey. A source close to the development revealed to a leading daily-
"Alia has been regularly going for her hockey training for about two hours in the morning. She has been doing so for over two weeks now. Not many people are aware about the venue she practices at. Since the film is set in Punjab, a state that is famous for its hockey players, Alia isn't leaving anything to chance as she plays a professional hockey player in the movie."
The movie is all set to go on floors soon and is expected to be shot from start to finish in one schedule. The movie might release in the end of 2015.
