Hmm I was a bit underwhelmed by Cate's appearance, she's done so much better last year the all black look didn't work for me. But she remains my fave actress though 😳

I love them too! IMO Emily was robbed of a nomination She deserved the spot over Streep.


Don't get me wrong, I like Meryl a lot but does anyone feel the Oscars are severely biased towards her? I will never understand the Academy's love affair towards her! its like Hey Meryl Streep just showed up in a movie, so lets nominate her even if she sucks in the particular movie 🤔

I love me some Marion C but her gown looked like a shower curtain! same goes for Naomi's dress, it looked like as if she was wearing a sports bra from behind 😆

and I don't like Nicole Kidman but her Louis Vuitton gown was WOWZA!!

@coldestwinter, I liked boyhood , it was all heart kind movie. And I like Ethan Hawke from before sunrise days. 😆 . So bonus for me.

Why do you think its overrated? Did not like the story?

And I agree on Meryl streep to some extent but her performance is always top notch , so what can oscars jury do? She works in films to win oscars only I guess.
Wasnt she nominated this year too in supporting actress category?
