Nope...its not being bad...filing a FIR...raising hue and cry over online forums...speaking against it...is all legal rights in a democracy...KILLING is not...so don't even compare.

Of course. The point made was that the religious nuts can go to any extreme. Taking offense, demanding bans, burning public property to taking lives. They don't understand a simple point that God doesn't need a fan club...definitely not a violent one.

Did anyone get killed over these??😕...The beauty of living in a democracy is...that if MF Hussain is allowed to draw the nude paintings of Hindu Goddesses...the Hindus are allowed to sulk over it...that is what they did sulked...not kill...A country where 80% population is of Hindus...MF Hussain was still alive.

See my reply above.

Btw MF Hussain moved to Qatar as he couldn't take harassment at that age anymore.

But the young techie guy in pune is dead as a revenge for making some funny pictures of shivaji and bal thackrey 😕 Irony is that he was not even responsible for those and was an innocent victim.
All religious nutters are the same and any of them who will get the opportunity will kill be it hindu, muslim, christian, jews atc .

I know MFH had to leave India...the thing is that...people see the harassment of MFH...what about the harassment people felt when he painted their deities nude? Do u think that some very simple. peace loving religious people were hurt by that?? My point is that...lets not undermine the harassment that the other group went through just because it can't be seen...Being religious is not bad...having regard for ur Gods is not bad...there is nothing wrong in it. as long as no one is being hurt by their beliefs...so why hurt sentiments in the first place...and if u want to hurt them...then do u expect the people to not resent it at all...not everyone can be that thick skinned...

See MFH had the full right to draw those paintings...he wanted to use his FOS without the responsibility...its OK...but let us give the other party the right to protest too within their legal rights without calling them religious nuts and what not...If someone is not thick skinned enough ...they should think before they do something that would clearly hurt someone...I think it should have stopped there and he didn't have to leave his own country though...which was sad...

Leaving aside a heinous crime committed by murdering charli hobdo staff , i am confused here as i have seen some people here who are against FOS when it comes to AIB / PK /MF Hussain but they are all for it when it comes to Charlie Hobdo , is it because later one is about the beliefs of a different group to them so its ok 😕 and BI i am not taking about you here.

Harassment cannot be justified.

To put it in simple way. A person gets stalkerish phone calls everyday because of some comments that person made on a public platform. The person complains to police and they say that he should ignore it and only go to them when he's hurt or killed.

Frankly, when it comes to religious clubs, I don't think there's any lesser evil.

I can't talk about others...but my stand has always been this...any kind of extremes are bad whether its talking ur liberties, religion , jokes anything too far...

Charlie Hebdo people were wrong in drawing the pics of Allah...knowing very well that it is going to hurt the sentiments of Muslims all over the world...Did they deserve to die for that...absolutely not...If Charlie Hebdo took their liberty to an extreme...so did those religious nuts ...by killing the cartoonist...no one deserves to die over a cartoon...no one has the right to kill another person except in self defense...but do Muslims have the right to get hurt and protest...yes they do ...in a peaceful manner withing their legal rights they have in a democracy...and this is my stand on almost everything..
