Sriram Raghvan is back...He is such an underrated dir...Badlapur is like a usual revenge story but focuses more on the chars and transformation of Raghu...At the end any argument on the rightness of Raghu's actions in his thirst for revenge is debatable...This is wht makes it different from other revenge dramas...

Varun Dhawan-starrer Badlapur, the revenge drama that raised curiosity ever since its first look was launched, is going strong even as it entered its third week. The film continued its forward march and collected Rs 81 lakh on Friday, Rs 79 lakh on Saturday and Rs 90 lakh on Sunday. The transformation of Varun Dhawan from a romantic hero to a man with a rugged look and revenge in his eyes, has been enough to create the right buzz for the film as Badlapur' collected Rs 9.51 crore at the end of the second week and Rs 37.28 crore at the end of first week. Its total collection stands at Rs 50 crore by the end of the third weekend. The movie has collected over Rs 7 crore in the overseas market, with the highest coming from United Arab Emirates/G.C.C. region. According to producer Dinesh Vijan, "Badlapur is a repeat watch primarily because of the layers the film has. I'm sure with the audience support we will have a great week three too." The film, well received by the audience and critics alike, has an A' rated tag from the censor board that has certainly affected its overall collections. However, despite this, the business has been good.

Varun Dhawan's Badlapur has made it to the 50 crore club after completing 20 Days Box Office journey in India. The movie an approx business of Rs.60 lacs and Rs.65 lacs on its 3rd Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, thus taking its total to around 50 crores nett. The movie is a clean hit of 2015 and has surprised one and all with its performance. Badlapur managed rake in maximum moolah from multiplexes during its 3rd week. This Sriram Raghavan directorial will end its lifetime business this week. Nevertheless, the film has done ample collections for itself and the producers are in a happy space now. Now, On its Fourth friday, "Badlapur" raked in about Rs.45 lacs at the domestic box office, thus taking its three weeks total to over Rs.50 crores.
