You must be doing a lot of things together right...i mean can anyone sit on this forum and just waste their time like that?...same way people can take care of important and unimportant things at the same time...try respecting other peoples' intellect and judgement too...instead of cribbing...oh they are talking about AIB...they don't care about anything else...doesn't happen like this in the real world.

First, they were not poking fun at each other, if it was only limited to themselves then it would have been okay but even then its on public platform, u wanna make fun of each other? Do it at your home.

When u r a celebrity, public figure then u have a big responsibility and making fun of these issues is no joke nor was it funny just vulgar and gross.

I mean why drag farida jalal or simi for that matter? How many times are they gonna make fun of the black guy? So he is black, is that the joke? Is that it? We get it, he is black and? So they do all this so it can be funny, so they can make people laugh but they don't, instead they end up insulting them and some group find it funny because the jokes are not on them. I wonder how u would feel if someone makes a joke on your mother like they did on farida jalal or simi garewal

Its offensive and insulting and even if the intent is to make people laugh, they should do it in a way which doesn't hurt other people. They actually went ahead and made personal remarks about other people and that too without their consent (farida, simi, pari)

I have infact im watching Bugs Bunny right now 😆😆😆 . I never said no one can speak their mind . I never said Aamir could not speak his mind (He can I personally think he sounds dumb saying what he is but he can say it) . I said bringing charges against a comedian for their "material" is just ass backwards dumb . An I am yet to here a case of it in America or anywhere other than India . Actually this AIB was the first time I heard of it . I was flabbergasted TBH. My mouth was wide open 😆😆 So maybe thats why I was harping on India but If it offends people I will table it . Im sure India is doing all they can to fix all their problems just like any country . Tho I have never heard of this issue in any other country . Now Karan Johars friends (Salman included) who are getting on his case. They have every right to but then I can come say they are being stupid which I think they are. (Cause their own movies and shows have plenty of "off color" humor as well ) This just about some boys who thought they were funny and they weren't . But they weren't criminal either .

As much as I don't like Mr. Perfaketionist, I can't help but agree with him here...abusing and laughing at someone without their consent is violence, you may be joking around and all, but it doesn't change the fact that you will most probably end up offending people...and freedom of speech/expression shld have some limit, I can't abuse everyone on this thread and claim it's my right (freedom of speech) to do so..

And then people get worked up when America is criticized on this forum. Most of the time it is unnecessary dragging America into the equation to show how superior it is, while India sucks.

Same old refuted arguments regurgitated again, 99% of the times they were abusing each other, in the 1% that they referred to someone who was not there, no joke was made on them, as for terrorism, ebola, gang rape, where did they make jokes on these subjects? They didn't, ofcourse, if you misconstrued it that way, then you completely missed the point. That's ok. You don't get it, you don't get standup comedy, not everyone has to like it, my advise to you is never go to any live standup performance. Even then, this isn't "violence" in any sense of the word unless you completely change the meaning altogether.

As for what's offensive and insulting, again, that's purely subjective, just as humour is purely subjective, you can moan about it all you want, just don't try to censor it.

Brother man I don't hate India im very indifferent to it . How can I hate India I never even been there . I don't plan on going there but thats not cause I hate it . You think im saying this cause I hate India . Im saying it cause its true. I never said USA was perfect . Make fun of America or Pakistan for that matter I don't care that ain't gonna stop me . If this happened in France or Timbuktu I would as adamant about it but it didn't . It didn't it happened in India. What I do like is comedy and these comedians are being thrown under the bus for what ????
