On IF everyone praises the films which critics love, in real life we all end up watching the blockbusters which the critics bash

I remember when Kareena was super popular on this forum and everyone sang her praises about what an amazing actress she was. In real life, I'd never met a Kareena fan in my life. 😆

Most people I know that question why I still watch bollywood to begin with 🤣 🤣

Parents think golden era of indian cinema was 60s/70s and think most of it is garbage now

Cousins/friends think 1990s was golden era and thinks most of it is garbage now 😆 😆

To be fair they will occasionally humor me and watch a movie with me but throughout the film are dogging it hardcore

On IF, stars like Shahrukh and Deepika are bashed for going to award shows and accepting awards. Truth of the matter is that without SRK attending a certain show, many people won't even watch it.

Few years ago IIFA here in Toronto got sold out so quickly because SRK fans here are in abundance, otherwise the Rogers Centre stadium wouldn't have been jam packed without his presence.

Basically, the masses just love their stars and want to see either Salman or Shahrukh in the award show, otherwise they won't watch it

Happy New Year is hated unanimously, on IF as well as in reality. CE is liked by almost everybody around me.

Other than that, nobody really cares much about any celeb's personal life unless it's a superstar like SRK or SK. As blue-ice said, the discussions are limited to the movies. Either you liked it, loved it or hated it. 😆

LOL, before joining this forum, my world only included Indian movies and their characters 😆 Actors and actresses were limited to their characters only. Golden time of my life 😆
