Yes, and kind of yes. Karan definitely didn't think Ranveer was serious. I think he didn't like it because he felt or knew it would raise the speculations about his sexuality. Or maybe he felt that it sort of forced the issue further to the forefront between and his mother or his loved ones. I found his comment that him and his Mom pretended it didn't happen very interesting.

As for Ranveer I don't think he did this for any other reason than to just be goofy and funny. I think he chose Karan because Karan was hosting and not because Karan is gay. I don't think he meant to cause any discomfort to anyone. Should he have done it? Based on the reaction and Karan's response here probably not. But hindsight, you know?

There is no God I go to. I stopped everything after dad passed away. I don't go to any temple anymore because six months before that, (when his dad was unwell) you are so weak and vulnerable that you listen to everyone and do everything from feeding cows to chanting mantras to doing pujas, to visiting every temple, and meeting every possible spiritual consultant in the world. I did everything but nothing worked because the one who has to go, will go.

I am the opposite to this...after Nyla died it brought me closer to Allah.

Regarding the Ranveer Singh kiss. Since it was not a staged act and not something Karan had consented to, Ranveer's behavior was out of bounds. It is a matter of courtesy and respect. You do not lip lock without permission.

From Karan's words it does seem that Karan was taken aback. The fact that he is not laughing as much about it speaks volumes that it invaded his space. At the same time Karan is being gracious and dismissing it. He brushes it off as something crazy Ranveer Singh does.

I don't think Ranveer meant any harm. He genuinely thought it was funny and would be cool with Karan. This is a part of his personality he really needs to work on. It is great to be exuberant and playful, but one needs to be conscious about boundaries. You should never invade someone's personal space. Hopefully, Ranveer learns these boundaries over time.

I agree that ranveer did not mean any harm by kissing kjo, ranveer did it coz he thought karan may hav thought it was funny and did it as a joke.

Ranveer is exuberant to make people smile, to make them laugh, he doesn't do it to make anyone feel bad.

I think the whole craziness and adrenaline of the event got ranveer going, so he kissed kjo to try and make the event more exciting, i am sure if ranveer knew that karan wud hav a problem with it he wud never hav done it.

But karan also doesn't seem to let it bother him, he seems to also know ranveer did it as a joke and not to offend.
