I agree with TM ..the movie has underperformed and doesn't lived upto the expectations of FIRST DAY collections...may be because amir is not a crowd puller like other two khans have at the box office on the first day..

Why just that. If that is the case then also see their lead actresses man. Deepika and jacki are red hot and desirable..i know many guys lust on them and went to watch them sizzling on screen. Here there is a case of bad plastic surgery and swollen lips for over 2 hours..not many guys would be interested.

if we compare such good content based movie with mindless masala flick then we are just comparing apples with oranges. If it make 200 crore then also its a blockbuster in its own genre .

Please do not insult this masterpiece by comparing its numbers with other movies...Some movies are meant to be watched...and relished...PK is one of them...whether it underperforms(really??) or over performs...who cares...Go and watch the movie...and you won't care about its BO numbers...

@Organized chaos...How is HNY's first day a gimmick...even the precious BOI gave it a 40 cr...and TA gave it a 42 cr...where is the gimmick...or now even BOI's numbers are gimmick according to u???

PK is def not a Masterpiece, Y are people overhyping it?? If it was that good, Aamir n Raju need not have increased the ticket fares to a large extent.. If we consider in that terms, it indeed has underperformed... If U have watched OMG U will know ki most of the scenes are repeated here... OMG had much better screenplay than PK indeed... PK's second half is clustered like anything n movie has been ended in a hurry... There is no proper ending like OMG...

Really??😕IMO its Hirani and Aamir's best work...I still can't get over the questions this movie raised...and how beautifully and lightly such a serious issue was handled...if it was anyone other than Hirani...abhi tak Shiv Sena dharna de kar baithi hogi...and really I can't forget Aamir's face in that Bhagwan song..😛
