This film Naam Kya Hai was suppose release somewhere in the late 1990s and it never did and thats a freaking shame . Cause this film and this SONG represents what 90's bollywood is all about 😃😃

As far as I read, this movie was started in late 80s before teezab release when madhuri was not at all a successful actress and was playing second fiddle roles to actresses like meenakshi in films like swati, manohatya and awara baap etc in1987-88.
Post teezab release madhuri became an overnight suoeretar, she also had a contract with subhash ghai who advised her to demand equal characters... also sridevi was not agreed to have madhuri getting equalent role to her...later on they resolved the issue and some shooting begun, but then financial issues came in as it was a mega budgeted movie..the film was again stopped...later on after 5 years of delay when the makers rethought to resume it fresh due to sri madhuri newly found great competition in early 90s, sunjay dutt went to jail...and zameen' makers due to one after other problems over the years, otally shutdown this project forever.

Tevar was a yash chopra movie, he cancelled the project due to numerous reasons, and after an year restarted it with a totally new story script and cast, it became dil toh pagal hai...even kjo stated in kwk dtph real name was tevar, but it seems he does not want to go into details that's why he said dtph original name was tevar...but its not true..tevar was a totally different project, the only similarity was yash chopra and srk madhuri.

The reason for that is this, majority don't even know about this movie's existence.
Also on the record the artists are bound not to disclose these things due to the unnecessary trouble that can comenout of media's awareness about such things and can surely fuel these old buried controversial stories from the past.

Why the hell did they stop midway?? Sounds like an amazing project.

Salyanka, you know what, the funny thing is that both these films were not shelved or cancel led..they were actually fully completed projects..and if u remember , not only thy were completed, but in late 90s and early 2000s both these films have been publicized and promoted on TV newspapers etc to be released, their release date kept getting prolonged for years, and eventually got locked into the boxes forever.
I remember the promos and posters..both movies were looked really well made, made with passion and seems they had great stories, but never got released even after the trailers...and its weird.

Seems like aishwarya and sunil's stars do not match at all.

Qrsal, you can see the shooting, and some completed scenes of time machine having aamir raveena naseedurdidShah and rekha in them. Just type on youtube search bar 'time machine rushes a amir khan'

Shekhar kapoor had some issues with producers...later after bandit queen' release, he went abroad for his Hollywood film director' career, and TM got sheleved forget despite being completed more then half.
