Woah! Is that Alia? You sure it's not from highway? 😆 She is totally unrecognizable! This is exciting!

Now without being biased I can say I'm more interested in knowing Shalia characters than K/D.

That's weird. Kapoor and Sons is March 18th so even if UP releases end of March, she will have only two weeks to promote that. But again, Bebo, Shahid and DD will be promoting it too. I would ask my friends to see if they knows anything.

Def. not Highway. Look carefully. You can't tell from this picture but they actually made her skin go like a few shades darker. I always felt she's naturally very very fair in real life but her skin tone is completely changed here. Also, she has all this spots on her face that people might get from being in the sun for too long. She also has a lot of old and new bruises which I think is from drug use. There are some pictures where she has bruises on her arms which look like she might be using heroine. The pictures shocked me to no end. There is no trace of sweet cute baby faced Alia here.

From pictures of Alia, this is what I can understand about her character.

She's from a poor background, works at some kind of mill building stuff (maybe bricks). She def. gets physically abused as there are many pictures of her with bruises on her face. I also feel like she gets sexually abused in the movie (heard there is lots of dark stuff including rape). She starts using drugs and gets too lost into it. Her character doesn't have a very happy ending.

Other theory is, there was some pictures of her in a school uniform but I am not sure if they are from UP. If they are, maybe she's a school student, gets into drugs, leaves home and starts working at a farm/mill to support her drug habits.
