After steering an auto rickshaw in Singham Returns, Kareena Kapoor rides a bike in Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming film, Udta Punjab.

The actress was snapped filming an action sequence at the Cotton Green railway station near a truck yard on Sunday night.

"Kareena started the bike effortlessly and rode down the street with co-star Diljit Dosanjh riding pillion," revealed an eyewitness.

The two were shooting an intense sequence, which required them to run and jump into a moving truck.

The film, based on the rampant substance abuse and drug trafficking in Punjab, went on floors in March, with leading man Shahid Kapoor canning a few sequences in Punjab and New Delhi.

Kareena Kapoor had earlier revealed to Mirror (July 17) that she wants to work with new, interesting directors like Abhishek Chaubey and R Balki, who has directed her in the upcoming rom-com, Ki and Ka, in which she plays a career woman married to a house-husband, played by Arjun Kapoor.

"After working with all the Khans so many times in the last 15 years, it's time to get out of my comfort zone. But I'll always love masala movies," the actress had said.

The film, slated for a summer release next year, also features Alia Bhatt in a central role.
