When Aishwarya Rai was set to tie the knot with Akshay Khanna!

Akshaye Khanna allegedly dated Aishwarya Rai briefly, before she started seeing Salman Khan. The Kapoors and Khannas also toyed with the idea of arranging a marriage between Karisma and Akshaye but talks didn't go too far and the idea was quickly abandoned.

Khanna was reportedly, very in love with Aishwariya & even proposed marriage to her during one of their outdoor shoots, but she sweetly smiled, giggled in her trademark manner, and politely declined. Ouch!
