I am not sure if she will wipe out Deepika but 2015/2016 will be her years specially with PK, BV! I am not sure how big it can get after that. Maybe it will be Alia's time after that. But Deepika, Anu will be around like PC, Bebo or Kat doing selective roles. I think all of them can coexist. We actually need more heroines. Alia needs some serious competition going forward which should be fun!

Anushka may be praised for her work but she's not going to be 'wiping' anyone out. Especially when her lips and awful wig are so distracting (PK) and in films where she is playing the second female lead (DDD, KJo's next). I think she will do well anyways but to be #1 you also need a certain amount of buzz and sex appeal with Anushka lacks.

Amusing how so many people are concerned with Deepika. 😆 #1 not, she does have some interesting films lined up.

SLB did present her beautifully as Leela and Homi brings out great performances in her so BM and TFIOS have potential. Her collab with Imtiaz after becoming a much better actress will be interesting too. As for Piku, she plays the title role and Shoojit said it's mainly about the girl so that'll be a treat.

It's grossly unfair to compare Deepika and Anushka at this very moment as anushka hasn't had a film release since January 2013...whereas DPad has had 6 releases in that time...

Let anushka's films release...give her a chance to show her work...and then we can compare...at the moment no one has seen any of anushka's latest work while deepika has been everywhere...

like i said earlier it would make more sense to compare deepika and sonam...but i guess ppl don't feel sonam is any competition to Dpad so they always drag anushka into it😃

Ofcourse Anushka can she is a good actress her line up starting from PK to Kjo's next is enough to keep her in an envious position. Hirani, Anurag kashyap, Kjo, Aditya chopra, late Yash chopra, Zoya akhtar and Vishal Bharadwaj she worked with big directors. anushka also is a young producer who is going to produce modest budget interesting films as actress she does less films but i think her films are quality films than what deepika does. To me Anushka is ahead as an artist already from Deepika. No current actress have worked with so many presigous directors like Anushka did in a short span it says a lot about her talent and demand where its needed.

yeah she has worked with them all despite doing only like 11 films so far if u include the 4 unreleased films. Once these films release n she signs some more films, would like to see her with some of the new younger boys like Varun or Sushant(in a full movie)

I don't think so. Anu is the better actress but Deepika has more fans and has a better PR. Also, Deepika is prettier.

like someone mentioned..Anu barely had a release recently..when Deepika success just started a year ago.

I also want to say that Anu is one of the most underrated actress in Bollywood. This girl gave decent/good performances since her first film. Yes, she was repeating the same roles..but I never seen her act bad.

If anu never did the surgery, she would've been able to move her face and laugh proper. she was too good in BBB. I wonder if botox have a long term effect because I like anu

When did she have the surgery? the last film I saw her in was Matru ki Bijlee and she was super hot in it, now the lips are pretty noticeable and bad.
