DP is known as reigning queen of Bollywood, and its already 2014. Her successes were in 2013, but the after effect is carried over because of FFF ( I mean critically speaking) and Happy New Year Commercially speaking.

I don't think Anushka can wipe out Deepika, but a year can belong to her if she delivers hits. But for DDD she's not a lead role. For NH10, Im not sure if that movie is going to do well. Bombay Velvet seems to be her only bet in terms of a meaty role. Whereas Deepika has Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani, both are probably likely to do better at BO than NH10.

If anything I think Anushka might steal this year's performance through PK. We will only find out after the movie and the reviews, and audience appreciation.

BM is risky and so is Piku but she will get critical acclaimed for both movies.

And if deepika bm and pike are risky then so is anushka BV and NH10 are. As far as DDD and KJO next are concern then one has Priyanka and the other has Aishwarya. Priyanka is brilliant actress and DDD is more about brother sister relationship so Priyanka will overshadow her. KJO next have aishwarya. And if aishwarya signed this movie then that means her role is huge. Plus she is again the better actress and beauty queen.

But I don't think anushka will be able to remove deepika from her position. Rest depends on deepika lineup

She has been working with top directors since her debut but still is not ahead of dp. Anu is a better and more natural actress. But i don't see her as queen of bw types. I love them both

Anushka is good but Deepika is a much better actress and Anushka might have big directors and films in her kitty but you don't know how will they turn out.

Never.. Anushka doesn't have the potential to make it BIG in Bollywood... She started her career only after a year DP started I guess n she in nowhere close to Deepika in terms of popularity ya success quotient... Maybe if she carries a movie on her own(I mean to say mainstream cinema) like DP in RL, then we can decide about whether she can mock out DP or not... Alia will wipe out DP? That's the biggest joke... Alia has no personality nor good looks.. She is young so maybe she is getting that recognition but I dont see her surviving in the long run...

why not? If Anushka's performances are good, her movies perform well at the box offie she deserves to be on the top. Anyways its high time Bollywood got rid of the star system. An actor should be know for their performance, a movie should be successful on its own merit not because of stars.

Having said that, I personally don't think Anusha is that great an actress. She is very repetitive. Except for BBB, I haven't found any of her other roles worthwhile.
