srk looked HOT as a military personnel but stupid as the guy in London..he had no chemistry with katrina.

Katrina was pathetic, she ruined half the movie and the other half was the person who wrote such a stupid story line..who in the right mind give up their true love caz they made some deal with god🤔 Oh that also not some uneducated , gawar person but a well educated, smart woman who lived in London all her life..wat a joke🤪

I get believing in GOD, but this is just height of superstitious it can only work in KEKTA show, not in some big budget movie🥱

Acting and chemistry I agree. Music...only for making more money. Better editing, direction, casting = less brickbats.

The film's downfall was its hype pre release...otherwise there are plenty of films which do well which are worse off than JTHJ. The expectations were so high, that when they were not met, people exaggerated everything related to the film.

I watched the film alone, and I still felt second hand embarrassment for SRK and Katrina during their lip locks. 😆😆

I liked it. It was a bit long but it was alright. The music was good. I didn't think SRK-Katrina was cringeworthy together like 99% of this forum said though. She looked way worse with Aamir IMO.

Edit: I loved Katrina's dance sequence before Ishq Shava.😳

Katrina spoiled the whole movie for me. Zero acting zero expressions.
Srk-Anu parts were the only saving grace.

Perhaps...the liplocks were so bad. I couldn't even bear to watch them. 😆😆

I watched the film in theaters few days after it came out. I didn't have high expectations in terms of story, with Adi C writing, or acting, with Katrina Kaif in it...how can I expect anything? And she put out her career worst too. 😆 But yes to some extent, I expected a decent enough engaging film. I pretty much ended up hating it b/c it was too long...it didn't make sense, and I couldn't feel anything for anyone...except for maybe army wala SRK and the last Yash Chopra montage. I didn't understand or like Katrina's character and my favorite scene was the one in the church where SRK yells at her. 🤣 So yes, I agree that the film didn't meet expectations and probably why people complain so much about it (me especially)...maybe that it didn't do well at the BO made a difference too.
