Also, there were reports that Sajid would be remaking Telugu hit Magadheera' in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor as the lead. There is a good news for Sasha's fans, as the director has gone ahead to confirm the same. He revealed that the scripting will begin in April 2015 and the movie will most probably roll by the end of 2015. The original Magadheera' had Ram Charan Teja in double role with Kajal Aggarwal.

Prabhu deva is a dancing legend and shahid is a good dancer so great pair. I love them together again...can't wait...so excited love prabhu and shahid

Seriously are there dearth of good directors? Prabhudeva is best in directing those horrendous masala movies like Action jackson and the sleazy dance moves.

And what about Shahid, has he not learnt any lessons from the past😲?

Shahid Kapoor confirms working in Sajid Nadiadwala's Magadheera Remake, The movie shooting goes on floors by the end of 2015 and will be a big 2016 release.

After back to back romantic roles (Shaandaar and Udta Punjab), Shahid Kapoor is all excited to be do a complete image change over for the remake of South Blockbuster Magadheera. The actor in an interview to a leading daily when asked about Magadheera said-

"I'm hoping to wear my hair long in the Magadheera remake which starts later this year. I've wanted to ride a horse with a sword in my hand and later this year I will."

Magadheera Remake will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, however the Director of the film is still not known. Sources close to Sajid Nadiadwala revealed that-

"Sajid has asked a couple of big directors to write the screenplay of Magadheera Remake. Sajid does not want the Hindi Remake to be a complete rip off of the original film and hence he is leaving no stone unturned to get the script in the right place. The film will be shot on a huge scale and will be one of the costliest films to be made in Bollywood."

So it's confirmed? I would have preferred that they not remake this one. As much as I love Shahid I still wanted Ram Charan to play the lead. Why not just have Rajamouli direct it?

Both Sajid & Shahid have confirmed!...Sajid wants to give it the Hindi flavor else it won't work at an All India level!...

is prabhudeva directing?

i loved the prabhudeva shahid combo in r rajkumar, so entertaining even though the script was so flimsy, the songs were the best

Me too!...but director has not been confirmed for this one yet!..
