It seems to be the season of remaking Subhash Ghai's films. After remakes of Ghai's Hero' (1983) and Ram Lakhan' (1989) are confirmed, with the former already being well into its shooting, there are now rumours that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has approached Ghai to co-produce a remake of Khalnayak' (1993).
"Bhansali has proposed a collaboration between his production house and Ghai's banner Mukta Arts. The meeting took place in Ghai's house and he is not averse to the idea," a source revealed to Mumbai Mirror.
The original Khalnayak' starred Sanjay Dutt in the lead role, alongside Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit. The film went on to become a huge success at the box office and its songs, such as the title song and Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai, are remembered even today.

And it's seems like SLB has some weird competition going with KJo, don't even know why he thinks he can compete with KJo...One RL and he thinks he can take on the biggest production house in BW 😆
