He signed EV right after SOTY...so he didnt have much of a choice but to rely on his mentor to get a break through from the chocolate boy image,...Even Varun signed a movie with his father to earn a role that will help him to showcase his comic timing...If Sid stuck to his pretty boy image,he would be going nowhere in midst of the high competition in BW...Yes now he got a 100 Cr hit and he need to capitalize on it but u know even Ekta who financed EV,gave major share of credit of the flick working at B.O to Mohit Suri than to Sid or RD..On paper EV is a solo hit for Sid,but doubt the movie would pave him enough opprtunities as he is nt seen as the reason for its success,more like a part of it..Right now,Kjo makes decisions for him and he is indebted to him..he cant refuse the words of his mentor and make independent choices as he is very new to this industry,unlike Alia or VD he doesnt have a clue how business works,so he might think its better to follow Kjo's advice...Post EV,Sid has only singned the Excel project which everyone believes he got on Kjo's recommendation again though Farhan had something else to say...He might start experimenting out of Dharma,if Brother and Bhavesh mints money at B.O and he gets the solo credit for once(than the hit music or PH or director)

Fair enough you dont see any reason to respect him further more..ur wish and opinion..we have to respect that..what I dont understand is this constant taunting of his fangirls...we fans are doing what every other fanbase does in the forum..defending our favourite and supporting him..we dont come around to take personal digs at every critic/hater of Sid,till he/she tries instigating us and mocking our posts..Why should fans be disrespected for standing by their favourite?

If you are taunted for being someone's fan just avoid them. Who we like is a personal choice and no one has any business commenting on that. There are certain celebrities whose fans are supposed to be the 'lower' ones here vs the high brow ones with good taste. I am like whatever at that mentality.
