So many discussions about Katrina's hindi 🤢 GHOR PAAP 😒 You guys do know it's really hard to learn a new language? Katrina apparently traveled the world with her parents and siblings and only spoke shuddh english. So she grew up with english went to India when she was 16 and has been there for 15 years. Believe me a person needs atleast 30 years to master a language. Considering celebs are usually not the most intelligent I'll add 10 more years which makes it 40 years. By that time Katrina will be a grandma. Also a person will always feel embarassed to speak a foreign language. Celebs have the luxury to use translators though so it's all good. Look at those football players and football managers for example:

Robin van Persie is 31 years old. He was never interested in studies and is dumb. So he can only speak his native language dutch. He has been 10+ years in the UK ,but he still refuses to speak english and makes sure his interviews get dubbed by someone else:

But give the poor guy another 30 years and he will definitely speak atleast dutchlish.

Or look at my love Pep Guardiola. The poor guy could only speak spanish and learned english (he still sucks though) then he moved to Germany in 2013...but can he speak German? I mean these football people are DUMB...so I was a bit surprised to hear him speak shuddh German so quick...but then I remembered HOAX: got dubbed by someone else:

🤢

Mario Balotelli (speaks shuddh Italian) always says: I REFUSE TO LEARN ENGLISH, UNTILL KATRINA LEARNS HINDI.

Oh well...he has only been in England for 4 years...needs another 50 I guess.

Another great example is that 22 year old Chelsea goalie Thibaut Courtois. Poor guy had to go on loan to Spain for three years. Bechara he couldn't understand anyone. How can such a young person that only spoke flemmish/dutch suddenly learn spanish? So he sends his clone to interviews while people believe it's him:

😆 So stupid! All these people are so slow! They make Katrina mata look like Einstein 😊 See Katty isn't so bad. ROCK IT KATTY 🥳

Go and speak Japanese with their accent !! Even if you do it for 10 years at the end u r an indian!

P.sMan You really have all the time in the world to do stupid things!😆

My relatives (aunts, uncles) are not educated and not from India or Pakistan but they loved bollywood movies, they learned hindi by just watching bollywood movies, can you believe that? Yes its not that good but its good enough.

If they can do it then anyone can.

Hindi is the easiest language to learn, not that difficult, here I'm talking about speaking not writing. Speaking and understanding and the grammar, its all easy.

I myself learned it from bollywood movies.

Other languages are much more difficult compared to Hindi (speaking)

and when you're an actress, you need to perfect it not just learn it, that's your livelihood, you're in front of so many people, you actually have a real reason to learn it and speak it properly.

but she didn't and why should she? She is famous, on top, no need rite? And why should she act for that matter? No need, just show your legs and guys will drool over you, movie is hit, no problem and if you give few flops, you have the kapoors and the khans (sallu) for you, good for you.

Luck pays off more than hard work, she is a living proof, don't believe so called PR articles that she is hard working, dikhraha hain humein ke kitni hard working hain yeh ladki 😆

I really don't think Hindi grammar is easy! and of perfecting Hindi, if ua not a native of that lang, you will mostly hav influence of ua lang, and thats normal!
and of Kat's performance, I do see improvement in her from her first movie to the latest! am not saying like Drastic changes but still there is!

Sana its easier to learn diff languages when u a kid bt as u grow older than it becomes difficult to get a grip of certain languages. I for 1 am useless with languages no matter hw hard I try I cnt crack them even though I watch so many hindi movies and shows bt I am so useless at it and I am an indian. It should have been easier for her to learn hindi quickly and speak it fluently by now being around soo many indians all the time bt it seems most of them probably speak english with her. Bt really she should have tried harder to have learnt the language by now she isn't as bad an actor as some make her out to be certain times her expressions are bang on bt her awful hindi makes seem makes her voice sooo awful its cringe worthy and brings her performance down. Bt her image is working for her so whether she knows hindi well or not doesn't matter anymore.

It is really difficult to learn Hindi as there is a lot of gender confusion in the sentences. People from non Hindi states have difficulty in stringing a sentence in Hindi, even if they are the biggest Bollywood fans on the planet. Katrina should be out of the mess as Hindi is not her mother tongue. Even as Indians how many Hindi speakers try to learn the local language of other states. There are people who are living more than 25 years in Mumbai but cannot speak Marathi, someone living 10 years in Kolkata cannot speak bangla or someone living 15 years in Bangalore cannot speak Kannada.
So Katrina cannot be blamed for her refusal to learn Hindi as she copying the examples from our country only.

That was just my experience because my relatives are now in Germany and they don't speak a word of it 😆 okay they do a little but you can't have a 1 min conversations with them nor can they be by themselves outside.

The difficulty which they had regarding grammar was 'apna, apni' basically exchanging male for female or vice verse.

I also learned English mostly watching Hollywood movies. All I needed was a dictionary 😆

I am the child of South Indian parents who emigrated to the US when we were very small. We always spoke Tamil and Telugu at home. My parents insisted we learn to read and write, watch Tamil and Telugu movies regularly and understand them. My reading and writing skills are rather rusty, but I can still speak both languages very well. Yet if you heard me speak in those two languages, it is with a US accent very different from how my parents speak which is with more of a South Indian accent.

I am not trying to be posh or trying to impress anyone. It is just the way I speak. My basic accent is American ?. I also speak English and Spanish with the same kind of accent. I don't know how to explain it. I learned Hindi watching BW movies. If I speak it and it is your mother tongue, you will probably want to slap me for murdering it 😆. But I swear I am not trying to be smart or posh and I actually made an effort to learn.

Point I am trying to make, one can know a language really well, including the grammar. Even read and write it and from a very young age. But accent is more dependent on a lot of factors.

Whoever said it is easy to learn Hindi, sorry no. I am not a duffer. But my grammar will make you want to throttle me if it is your mother tongue. Just the aaraha hain and aara hi hain. I mess up all the time, but I understand it quite well.

People in india from what I've seen love the westernized Hindi accent.

I personally know and speak shudh hindi, but I can't pronounce the words like people in India do. But the people there love my Hindi and they think I sound cool hahha

I am fluent in Spanish and do speak some BRazilian Portuguese despite not having any ancestry of that sort neither have I lived in a Spanish/Portuguese speaking country thus far. Nor am I 30+ like Katrina.
I still CAN though.
And I am damn proud. Katrina is dumb as f**k.
