The effervescent and charming girl on screen - Katrina Kaif has a rather different side to herself as well.

According to a fellow traveler in a recent aircraft the actress had boarded, her in-flight manners are far from her fan-friendly, posing-for-pictures self at airports.

The actress literally and figuratively gets up in the air' if her co passengers are to be believed. So much so, that she refuses to talk to the flight stewards and stewardesses and relies on her dutiful manager to do the needful.

Asource told Mumbai Mirror, "Basically every time when Katrina boards a flight, she sits with her manager. When the flight stewardess comes to greet her or ask her about her food preference, she simply turns to her manager instead of talking to the flight attendant directly. She would then tell her food preference to her manager who would then convey it to the stewardess."

Apparently, her dutiful manager even helps her call out for water or the other in-flight necessities whenever Katrina commands.

And in case you were wondering, Kat's behaviour doesn't change with flights - be it domestic or international travel. In fact, the source mentioned that Kat's unusual behaviour isn't new. In fact, an incident, years back surprised a lot of fellow travellers who were a bit too used to the actress' onscreen avtar.

Apparently, Kat had lost her cool on an airhostess when she was woken up and asked to fasten her seatbelt. Obviously not in her best behaviour with her slumber party being crashed, Kat had given a piece of her mind to the unsuspecting stewardess who had simply tried to follow the rules.

"Katrina's in-flight manners were once narrated by an airhostess in a television show. The actress refuses to talk to the stewardesses and communicates through her manager seated next to her - even for a bottle of water," the source added.

Looks like Katrina's manager has more people to deal with than just the media or production houses. Surprisingly, Katrina's mannerisms take a sharp turn on returning to ground level. Once the flight lands, and she is out of the aircraft, Katrina is back to being her cheerful camera friendly self.

"She is very sweet to her fans and often poses for pictures at airports and even indulges kids wanting to take her autograph. Thus for people travelling with her, it's quite a disconnect between her in-flight and onground avtars," said the source. Perhaps she just likes relying on her manager for her every need.

Shah Rukh respects people'

Shah Rukh is incredible. Nobody can match his energy or enthusiasm. He will pose for you at 5 or 6am if you approach him. Shah Rukh Khan respects people; even if you are in a crowd of 1000 people, he will make you feel special. He makes time for the paps and his fans and doesn't act starry. I also like his nonchalance and cool attitude. He trusts you to make your own judgement and doesn't interfere in your work. For instance, he may have a cigarette in his hand while posing for a picture or giving you an interview but he will expect that you won't use those images that may get him into trouble. He won't lecture you on what to do; instead he gives you your space while building a relationship of trust.

Recently I interacted with him and his son AbRam was with him. It was nearly a full day's shoot at Mehboob studios and we had a lot of fun. SRK made me feel very comfortable but requested me not to shoot AbRam. I heeded his request; why annoy stars unnecessarily? AbRam is a very cute baby, I am waiting for the day to click him and his dad. I am sure it won't be too far.

The only time when he gets angry is when someone crosses limits. I heard that some time back a photographer had stealthily shot some pictures of the Happy New Year team leading to the look of the characters being leaked. Shah Rukh was very angry with the pap, I don't think he will pose for him again. But that's understandable.

I have heard only good things about Shahrukh from the common people/fans who have met him...he always respects and makes his fan feel special...and that is what matters to me...that he never forgets that he is THE SHAHRUKH KHAN because of his fans...I just love this quality of his...yes he has a lot of bad habits and shortcomings...who doesn't ...he is also human like us...but as his fan ...what matters to me is how he treats his fans...he shows his ego to the other stinky, filthy rich people of BW or some journalists who cross their limit...who cares for that...as long as I know that if someday I meet him he will treat me in a good way..😳

Nevertheless I believe what he said about SRK because last year one of my best friends met him in London during CE promotions and she still sings praises of him on how kind and sweet he was to hundreds of people who came to catch a glimpse of him

Shahrukh is a charmer..He is the best when it comes to treating the fans. I believe he is intelligent enough to understand that stars are not stars without fans

I met Sushmita Sen(though not a A-lister) long back when I was in school..She was GORGEOUS, very very articulated and very nice to children(we were rehearsing in EDEN gardens for world cup)..
