I just caught the movie in the theater. Apparently it has more screens I guess, thus playing near by...

Damn, this movie was sooo cute and sweet. Loved it. ARK surprised me the most for I wasn't expecting much from him. But he has the charm to make you fall for him. What a brilliant job, he is indeed one of the good actors. I think I like him better than Ranveer and Ranbir. He is more natural and charming especially if he can make you fall for a bawarchi 😆

Pari was good as well. I actually liked her in this movie compared to the crap she had done in the past. She played the girl next door and she was perfect. Anupam Kher was funny as the fidgeting dad.

Overall loved the movie. I feel like re-watching some of the scene once I am home...

Will watch out more from ARK, I hope he does more movies...

And hope the movie does good for its a good movie, nothing spectacular but entertaining with a message attached.

Agree, her accent seemed bang on and very refreshing to see it in the movie. Bolly needs to explore more cultures and parts of India than be monotonous with the same old formula.

And I agree, I found her cute as well 😆

every year there is a film that surprises you & blows you away daawat e ishq is that film of 2014

ADI is too too too good & really the surprise package in #DaawatEIshq he did overshadowed pari which is huge caz overshadowing pari isn't an easy task
Pari as always is Excellent Gullu is a sweetheart i fell in love with ehr from the word go but this one belongs to Adi
i had 0 expectations from this film & it just blew me away
i am so so happy that a mainstream film talked about a major issue in this manner & handled it well too
Shayrana is so much better in the film & the video is so cute
This one you all should watch

Daawat-E-Ishq: 1st Saturday (Day 2) Box Office Collections

Daawat-E-Ishq managed to show a good jump on its second day. The film collected 4.25 crores on 1st Saturday. With this, the two day total for this movie stands at a total collection of 8 crores at the domestic box office.

The film has had a big release and compared to its huge screen count, the collections are quite low. It has been performing average at the multiplexes and the single screens too have not picked up much since its first day. The film has received mixed reviews and thus it is expected to pick up on positive word of mouth. It may show some more growth over Sunday.

I can't get over "Mere Mannat Tu"...What a soulful song and lovely picturization to go with...

Critics didn't seem to like their chemistry, but I loved it. They looked good together, very comfortable and jovial...

Daawat-e-Ishq has registered limited jump on 2nd day (Saturday) at box office. Film has collected an estimated 4-4.25 crore nett on Saturday with a jump of around 10-15% from day one. Jump is limited and this is danger sign as first day collection was also in mediocre level. In fact, film has got good release all across India and business should have been easily more.
Daawat-e-Ishq total collection after 2 days is approx 8 crore nett mark. Film first week collection is heading for 13+ crore nett mark which is much below expected level. Film had good face value in Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur, plus released in good amount of screens.
Ideally film should had a 5+ crore nett first day business and weekend business should be in the region of 20 crore nett. But looks like film will fall short of the expected level by a big margin now. Film will definitely show some jump on Sunday for sure as expected. But now more important aspect is film needs to sustain well from Monday onward which is of out most importance.
Collection Breakup -
Friday - 3.75 crore nett.
Saturday - 4-4.25 crore nett (est).
Total - 8 crore nett (approx)

Also a lot of them had a problem with ARK forgiving her! They had a problem with Pari forgiving Arjun in Ishaqzaade too!

Going to watch it today/ tomorrow-hopefully even I'll enjoy it😳

I really did nt liked the movie the idea was quite good but they failed to make a good movie
where as i saw ks today and i actually liked that one.i dont like sonam and she did go overboard in this movie also bt this movie has a cute story good direction and a bloody hot hero who can acts superbly also .
Pari i feel bad for her
