This Friday (tomorrow) there will be two new releases again in Daawat-e-Ishq and Khoobsurat. Last week we saw two release in Finding Fanny and Creature 3D. Continuing with the trend again box office will see two significant releases. Daawat-e-Ishq stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra, whereas Khoobsurat stars Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan. Both film has got decent screen release count. Although Daawat-e-Ishq will get little bigger release than Khoobsurat across India.
Coming to opening of the films, both will depend majorly on word of mouth power looking at face value. Daawat-e-Ishq may get a bigger opening as its face value and pre-release buzz is bigger than Khoobsurat. Friday being working day, film may start slow with word of mouth picking up from later half of the day. If content is good then expect business to multiply on Saturday and Sunday.
Screening of last week releases Finding Fanny and Creature 3D will be reduced hugely and thus, leading to monumental drop in business in their second week. Both film under-performed at box office leading to loss of distributors. Exhibitors are also not much confident now on those product and hence, concentrating on new releases. Mary Kom may still get some decent screening for 3rd week, and do business on lower end.
