Frankly this concept of feminism goes over my head..Everyone seems to have such a distorted definition of the term..I was just reading through articles about the controversy surrounding the latest Airtel commercial..Its being called sexist & regressive cos the woman who is shown to be her husband's boss comes back home to cook for him..Now whats so regressive about this? Its come to a stage where i just don understand what ppl mean by feminism 😆 This is not related to the topic but i had to add this here cos you raised the topic of feminism 😆

Deepika is still awake, retweeting tweets 😆 or it's her team, but now it all looks like a publicity stunt.

We have women celebs (ya know, the empowering kinds), who endorse lightening creams of various sorts, even vaginal lightening creams and then yell from the top of their lungs,"UNFAIR UNFAIR ZAALIM DUNIYA". Then we have the same women that create a market which demands for women to be treated as objects. People are put into a sphere of sexual lust that prevents them from achieving a state of mind that allows them to significantly critique the system they live in or to create values that are antithetical to it.

They did because she wore a bikini and was degraded, she was on a holiday and the same media made a huge cry for her wearing a bikini. Objectification is another word for degrading.

When Kim Kardashian's or Paris Hilton's sex tape leaks, there is no outrage, but when Jennifer Lawrence's nude pictures leak, we have moral outrage over it.
